2020 Polls: NDC Needs A New Face – Goosie Tanoh

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) needs a new leader who is ready to stand for truth, honesty, hard work and self-discipline, to bring back the party to power, presidential aspirant of the NDC, Goosie Tanoh has said.

According to him, leadership is key in driving societal change and development, and so delegates must carefully consider the choices available to them as the December date for the presidential primaries draws closer.

Mr Tanoh also entreated the delegates to elect a presidential candidate who will be welcomed by Ghanaians, and give the party back to its grassroots members.

Addressing some delegates at the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi, as part of his seven-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, Mr Tanoh pleaded with them to give him the nod so he can win power for the party.

He said the January 26 primary was crucial because God willing, whoever wins will be the one that is sworn into office as president on 7 January 2021, thus, his appeal to them to vote for him.

He said it was possible for the opposition party to win back power, however, the party can only do that with a competent, principled and accountable new leader who has the trust of people especially floating voters.

Goosie Tanoh, while addressing delegates said ‘’let’s think with a new heart and win 2020 with a new leader’’.

He said he is the right person with the capacity and ability to organise and mobilise votes for the party to win power.
