20-year old man defiles 14-year old JHS girl

A 20 YEAR-old boy is in hot waters as he has been accused of defiling a 14 year-old Junior High School (JHS) pupil at Atwima-Boko near Kumasi.

Bismark Opoku Sarkodie, the suspect, is alleged to have secretly had countless sexual encounters with the young and naive girl for sometime now.

The victim (name withheld for obvious reasons) eventually disclosed her sexual encounters with Opoku Sarkodie to her mother, one Fatima Salia.

According to a report by the Abuakwa District Police in the Ashanti Region, which The New Publisher has sighted, Fatima then reported the case to police.

“On 09/02/2026 at about 0930 hours, Fatima Salia, aged 44, a trader, of Atwima-Boko, reported to the Unit, accompanied by her 14-year-old daughter, a JHS 3 student at Atwima-Boko.

“The complainant alleged that one Bismark Opoku Sarkodie, aged about 20 years, had sexual intercourse with the said daughter on several occasions at Atwima-Boko.

“A Police Medical Report Form was issued to the complainant, enabling her to take the victim to a health facility for medical examination and treatment”, the police said.

According to the police, the suspect has since gone into hiding, and strenuous efforts are currently underway by the police to apprehend him to assist in their investigations.
