4 Ghanaian Journalists On Working Visit To Denmark

Four Ghanaian journalists have arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark at the invitation of the Danish government for an official working visit to Denmark. Their visit is ahead of the royal state visit to Ghana in November by Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. The visit is expected to further deepen the already existing cordial relations between Denmark and Ghana.

The Queen will be accompanied by a delegation if trade and investments experts on her visit to Ghana. The journalists are from the print and electronic media, representing both the state-owned and privately owned media houses. Highlight of the visit will be the opportunity to interview the Queen, during a Press Conference to be held at the Fredensborg Palace.

They will interact with the Lord Chamberlain, Michael Ehrenreich and the Communications and Press Secretary, Lene Balleby, prior to the interview with the Queen. On Tuesday, the journalists witnessed the colourful Changing of the Guards at the forecourt of the palace, an exercise, which takes place at 12 noon daily.

The journalists are also expected to interact with Danish Shipping and tour the Biofos, the largest waste water treatment plant in Denmark and the House of Green.

Last week, the Danish Embassy in Accra, launched its magazine, ‘From Aid to Trade’, which threw light on the new direction of relationship between Denmark and Ghana.
