5-Year Prayer Answered, Thank You King Promise – says Tilly

Ghanaian media personality Tilly Akua Nipaa has expressed deep gratitude to King Promise after the newly crowned Artiste of the Year pledged to sponsor her master’s degree.

Tilly took to her social media platforms to share how the musician’s support has finally made her five-year dream come true.

On her WhatsApp status as well as her Instagram page on May 14, 2025, Tilly explained that for the past five years, she has wanted to pursue a master’s degree but lacked the funds. She thanked King Promise for stepping in to help her achieve this goal.

“For 5 years, I have been trying to do my Master’s but every year something happens and I end up not having adequate funds to do it. To see God use King Promise to answer a five-year prayer of mine is proof that God is still in God and has bigger plans for me,” she wrote.

Tilly also expressed appreciation to King Promise and his team for recognizing her efforts. “Thank you to King Promise and the Team. It means the world to me!” she added.

King Promise made the announcement during an interview on Accra FM, praising Tilly’s hard work in promoting his career ahead of the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

“I like Tilly. I believe that she did a good job. I was talking to my managers a while ago, I think she’s gonna go do her master’s and I want to pay for it because she’s done a great job. She’s contributed very well to what we did,” he said.

Tilly was appointed Head of Public Relations for King Promise in April 2025, tasked with promoting his work to the awards board and the public. Her efforts helped boost King Promise’s chances, leading to his victory over strong competitors like Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, and Black Sherif.

After the win, questions arose about Tilly’s future with King Promise, but she confirmed in an interview with Graphic Showbiz that she remains a valued member of his team.

This sponsorship marks a new chapter for Tilly, who now looks forward to starting her master’s degree with the full support of King Promise and his team.
