6 Feared Dead in Ambulance Crash

AT LEAST six people are feared dead after a speeding Ambulance and Ford Transit bus crashed head-on.

The impact of the crash was said to be massive so it resulted in deaths and life-threatening injuries to scores of people.

The incident occured at Potrikrom in the Ahafo Ano South-East District of the Ashanti Region on last week.

According to eyewitnesses, the Ambulance was from the Bechem area and heading to Kumasi with a sick patient.

The Ford Transit Bus was also fully loaded with people and goods, and it was also going to the Bechem direction.

They said they just realized that the two speeding vehicles crashed head-on at the outskirts of Potrikrom town.

The dangerous crash, they disclosed, damaged the two cars and caused several deaths and life-threatening injuries.

According to them, some people quickly rushed to the scene to help save the lives of survivors in the bloody road accident.
