Afenyo-Markin Hosts Israeli Ambassador

The Minority Leader, Osahen Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, last week took a working tour of parts of his constituency in the company of His Excellency, Roey Gilad, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The Minority Leader announced on his Facebook page that his Office, in partnership with the Embassy of Israel in Ghana, Engineers Without Borders–Israel and CBR-Ghana is leading a community-based initiative aimed at strengthening rehabilitation services for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs).

“As part of this partnership, we visited Don Bosco Primary School and Father John Memorial School to observe and support children with disabilities and also engaged with community members to better understand and assist persons living with disabilities. Afenyo-Markin noted.

“This initiative reflects our shared commitment to promoting inclusion and improving the quality of life for children and families living with disabilities in the Effutu Constituency”, Afenyo-Markin noted.

Anbassador Roey Gilad was first welcomed to the residence of Afenyo-Markin before they paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Effutu Traditional Area, His Majesty, Neenyi Ghartey VII at his Palace to commence the tour.
