Africa Entrepreneurs Alliance Host Community Engagement Event to Empower Local Entrepreneurs

In a bold move to ignite entrepreneurial growth across communities, the Africa Entrepreneurs Alliance (AEA) has held a vibrant community engagement event aimed at inspiring and equipping current and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The event, which took place in Madina Abokobi and Adenta areas in the Greater Accra Region on May 29, 2025 at the Redemption Rock International Ministry, brought together business leaders, students, investors, and community members for a day of empowerment, innovation, and collaboration.

Delivering the keynote address, the President and Founder of AEA, MRS. EUNICE AMOAKOAH BOTCHWAY, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in driving sustainable development and reducing dependence on government resources.

The event is part of a broader initiative by the Africa Entrepreneurs Alliance to build a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem across the continent.

The alliance announced plans to extend its outreach to other regions, including senior high schools and tertiary institutions, to inspire young people to embrace innovation and enterprise from an early age.

Attendees had the opportunity to network, learn from seasoned business leaders, and explore opportunities for collaboration and investment.

A diverse line-up of speakers addressed topics ranging from start-up development and access to finance, to digital innovation and community impact.

Speakers at the event were, Nyansa Boakwa who is a media manager and entrepreneur, who spoke on the topic: Where Money Hides.

Apostle Dr AMB Naa Merley Hammond, Chief Executive Officer for Namel Empire who spoke on the topic: Women In Entrepreneurship Master Class

Shallom Adu- Bediako, Chief Executive Officer for Shallom Edibles and teacher at Methodist Girls High School, also spoke on the topic: Business Growth.

The AEA President expressed heartfelt appreciation to the event’s speakers, sponsors, and organizers, commending their dedication to advancing entrepreneurship in Africa.

“We envision a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem where ideas are celebrated, businesses grow, and leaders emerge. Today is a testament to that vision,” she indicated.

As the Africa Entrepreneurs Alliance continues its mission, the organization invites all entrepreneurs, policymakers, educators, and community stakeholders to join forces in building a future where African innovation and enterprise lead the way.
