Ghanaian music producer Appiah Dankwah, popularly known as Appietus, has moved to the United Kingdom and opened a new recording studio in London.
Speaking to myjoyonline.com, Appietus said, “I just set up a new studio in London.”
The move is part of his plan to grow his music career and reach international markets.
With this new studio, Appietus hopes to offer top-quality music production services to artistes in the UK and other parts of the world. His presence in London is also expected to create more chances for collaboration between African and international musicians.
This step marks a new chapter in Appietus’ career, which has spanned over 20 years. It also follows a trend where many Ghanaian creatives are taking their talents to global stages.
Appietus has worked with several big names in Ghana’s music industry, including Okyeame Kwame, Ofori Amponsah, Samini, Becca, Wutah, and Daddy Lumba. He is also known for being a judge on MTN Hitmaker, where he helped discover and train new talent.
His move to the UK is seen as a big opportunity for both African and global artistes to connect and grow together in the music industry.
