Australian Company partners Blogger Kobby Kyei for ‘Together Project’

Without blogs, social media was going to be that boring. Blogs not only enlighten followers about the things that are taking place in society but also entertain everyone from time to time. If you no longer feel entertained while surfing through the internet, blogs managed by several media personalities takes the boredom off.

Blogging in Ghana has exploded over the past few years, with writers shying away from traditional media, to create their spaces. Through their personal blogs, they are covering the latest news in the entertainment industry, business, and even politics.

Many have faced set backs in the space of blogging, others gave up along the way with few making it big in the sequence of the job. One personality who has established himself in the space in recent time is Blogger Kobby Kyei. He has for the past years made a brand for himself devoid of controversies and other maligning issues.

The CEO of Polish Till You Shine Foundation and KobbyKyieNews known in real life as Augustus Koranteng Kyie popularly known in the showbiz industry as Kobby Kyie is one of the fast rising entertainment bloggers in Ghana now.

He may not have been in existence for that long a time but it seems the little work done so far has traveled beyond Ghanaian borders. The aim of helping others seems to have caught external attention and this has led to the “Together Project” reaching out to kobbykyeinews and Polish Till You Shine Foundation to help Ghanaian artisans gain access to global brands and customers.

In view of his many hard works done over the period, an Australian Agency has partner with him for the ‘Together Project’ to enlighten and help musicians in and across board project their works to the International market.

”The Australian partners came to Ghana over the weekend to partake in further discussions with me for the project. I was in Kumasi and had to run fast to Accra for a documentary about my work and other related matters. I am very well pleased to feature in this space of work showcasing to the world” he said in an interview with The Publisher.

According to him, with the mission of creating sustainable ‘ethical luxury platforms’, the project seeks to elevate the value and image of artisans and their works adding that, it further bids to help artisans establish their economies and by so doing reduce poverty and improve the quality of life in deprived areas.

The young blogger passion for humanitarian works has earned him many accolades over the period. His Polish Till You Shine Foundation with the aim of inspiring and putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in society has helped many on the street of Accra and other regions in the past years.

Recently, he was ranked among Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers to unveil the faces behind the most read and popular blogs owned and run by Ghanaians.

The ranking which features bloggers from diverse sectors such as entertainment, lifestyle, education, fashion, technology, health, relationship and others saw Kobby Kyei at the 27th position.

With networking being so crucial in today’s online work, Kobby Kyei has built a kind of brand for himself which has become obvious of the many success he is enjoying at the moment.

He has a strong network of friendship with other social media influencers and interact on daily basis with huge number of followers, share ideas, hold seminars to impact young entrepreneurs on betterment of building their brands.

As part of the exposure the ‘Together Project’ has brought, Mr Koranteng would undertake an internship with the Australian Company  few months to come out of Ghana and have his blog published on a newly dedicated blog platform.

This he explains, the exposure to the online platforms would not only help Ghanaian youth and musicians in general appreciate the rapid evolution of digital skills, but also inspire them to encourage themselves to remain relevant in the digital job market.

This, he said would be impossible without support from giant internet providers in the form of low internet packages to make data affordable for easy internet access.

Private sector interventions with coordinated support from the government, he said, would be a big boost to lifelong learning and innovation among Ghanaian youth.

Kobby Kyei has worked with several musicians like BET Award winner Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Teephlow, Obibini among others. He is currently entertainment pundit on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda hosted by Sammy Flex.

We say congratulations to Blogger Kobby Kyei, we wish him well in this Australian Project. More Wins and More Projection of Ghanaian Musicians to the International Project.
