BAAKO: Bawumia NOT GUILTY In Anas Expose

Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, mentor of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has stated categorically that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is not guilty of any offence in the latest undercover work of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, stressing that the investigative work does support assertions of wrongdoing on the part of the Vice President or the President.

“Veep Bawumia is NOT guilty of any offence in  the documentary to be shown tonite! Same way, the President and Veep Bawumia were NOT guilty of any offence in Number 12 documentary! These are FACTS!  Those who interpret what they see or watch in their own way can continue to do so. Free speech!”, he said in response to a comment

“The two documentaries do NOT support their tainted and twisted interpretations!” Abdul Malik Kweku Baako stressed in response to public commentaries on the matter.

Following revelations by Anas Aremeyaw Anas that Mr Charles Adu Boahen ( now disgraced and dismissed as Minister of State in Charge of Finance) had said that supposed investors were to pay some $200,000 as “appearance fee” before the Vice President could personally intervene to facilitate their doing business in Ghana.

Some have sought to interpret that to mean that the Vice President is guilty of taking bribes or personally intervenes in facilitating businesses of investors. But Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, who is a mentor and works closely with Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has said these interpretations are entirely the imagination of their authors since the investigation did not find the Vice President guilty of any such thing.

Meanwhile Charles Adu-Boahen has been dismissed by President Akufo-Addo over his engagement in influence peddling as is clear in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas latest exposé.
