Bawumia’s campaign train hits Kumasi

Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, will commence a three days campaign tour of the Ashanti Region today (Monday).

Information available to THE NEW PUBLISHER indicated that Dr. Bawumia would meet various groups and professionals in the region for an interaction.

For instance, Dr. Bawumia would meet the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs at Manhyia on Monday, where he is expected to explain his vision to transform Ghana as president to them.

After meeting Nananom, the NPP presidential candidate would be given the blessings to visit the nook and cranny of the region to campaign to help boost his presidential ambitions.

The NPP leader, based on his campaign itinerary, would also meet and interact with the various associations, business groups and others in the region and share his vision o with them.

Dr. Bawumia would also storm the markets in Kumasi, interact with market leaders before visiting the famous Suame Magazine to meet with the artisans in the region, notably Kumasi.

He would also inspect some government road projects in the region, meet with the clergy and muslim leaders, and as well have a dinner with archbishop’s and other top pastors.

The highlight of Dr. Bawumia’s tour, is when he would walk in the streets of Kumasi to meet and interact with the ordinary people in the region in an effort to attract their votes on December 7.
