Berla Mundi Dumps GHOne, Joins TV3

Berla Mundi, host of GHOne’s ‘The Late Afternoon Show and Gliterrati, and also host of Starr FM’s Starr Drive, is set to leave the EIB Network for Media General; reports reaching The Publisher indicate.

According to our sources, Mundi is at the verge of striking a deal that will see him hosting a show on TV3, as well as on 3FM.

It is not clear if Berla has already handed her resignation to the management of EIB yet, but sources say she will leave anytime soon.

For some time now, it appears things have not been going on well at EIB Network as the company had seen a number of top journalists ditching the network.

The last person to quit was Giovani Caleb, who also joined Media General last month. He will be hosting a show on TV3 and 3FM early next month.

Born Berlinda Addardey, Berla Mundi was a contestant of the Miss Malaika Ghana pageant in 2010 and was the second runner-up.

She got her start on TV with Rhythmz and has since become one of the most popular faces on TV, hosting Miss Malaika and MTN Hitmaker.  She was also an on-air personality on Live FM’S “Touchdown” show.

In 2018, she became the 15th Most Influential young Ghanaian with over a million followers on social media.

In 2015, she launched a non-profit organization called the Berla Mundi Foundation. She also runs the B.YOU Project to mentor young female students.
