Bishop Hampel becomes Archbishop

WORLD ACCLAIMED Man of God, Bishop Dr. Prince Hampel, is now an Archbishop, after 55 years of preaching God’s word across the globe.

He was ordained as an Archbishop during a mammoth church service at the Liberty International Church in Kumasi, which was massively attended.

Archbishop Dr. Hampel started God’s work over five decades ago and he had travelled virtually across the world winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

He is the Founder of the Liberty Global Christian Church, which has established branches in Ghana, Canada, USA, UK, Germany and other countries.

Archbishop Dr. Hampel is also the President, Ministers Manna International, a group of pastors, who usually meet to learn from the experience of Archbishop Hampel.

The Archbishop is also the CEO of Wisdom for Winning, a non-Denominational group in Ghana, who usually meet to discuss issues about God’s kingdom.

The consecration ceremony was characterised by the singing of melodious Christian songs. Fervent prayers were also said for Archbishop Dr. Hampel.

Archbishop Dr. Hampel used the occasion to urge Christians to become more active in national affairs so as to help to stop social canker that is destroying humanity.

He particularly entreated Christians to start talking about corruption and other bad things that are happening in society, stressing that the church must be more active.

“The church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state”, Archbishop Dr. Hampel indicated.

He added that “It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool”, saying ghat it was time for the church to take it’s position in society.

The Archbishop said “if the church does not recapture its prophetic zeal, it will become an irrelevant social club without moral or spiritual authority”.

The Council of State Chairman, Nana Otuo Serebuo, Archbishop Yinkah Sarfo, Archbishop Asafo Adjei and other top men of God were present at the event.
