Black Maidens Qualify For U-17 Women’s World Cup 19-0 Aggregate Win Over Djibouti

The Black Maidens are through to the FIFA U-17 World Cup after they clobbered Djibouti again in the second leg at Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Ghana’s u-17 female team had already booked their ticket following a 9-0 first leg victory in Djibouti City a fortnight ago.

But that did not restrain them from putting 10 goals past the hapless Djibouti side to record a 19-0 aggregate win and wrap up what has been an extraordinary qualification campaign.

The goals came from usual culprit Abdualai Mukarama – four goals – Nina Norshie – brace – Victoria Teye Williams, Barikisu Rahman, Bugre Azumah and Mumuni Fuseini.

More to come…
