Intriguing media pundit, Counsellor Lutterodt, formally known as Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, has issued a stern disclaimer to disassociate himself from the actions of any person who goes to the residence of the late music icon, Daddy Lumba to act in any unlawful way.
“Any person who, without lawful authority or the express permission of the appropriate persons, goes to the residence of the late music legend does so entirely at his or her own risk. I completely disassociate myself from any such actions”, a statement issued by Counsellor Lutterodt last Thursday March 12, noted.
The statement read in full: “have become aware of conversations on both traditional and social media concerning comments attributed to me about the burial location of the late music legend, D.L.
“As a peace-loving and law-abiding Ghanaian, I wish to make it clear that I do not encourage anyone to engage in offensive conduct, violence, or any action that may disturb the peace of our community.
“I therefore urge everyone to act with wisdom, restraint, and respect. Any person who, without lawful authority or the express permission of the appropriate persons, goes to the residence of the late music legend does so entirely at his or her own risk. I completely disassociate myself from any such actions.”
Counsellor Lutterodt issued the statement barely 24 hours after the Adenta Circuit Court had admitted him to bail. He was arrested on Monday, sent to the Court on Wednesday and charged with offensive conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace.
He pleaded not guilty to allegations that he had incited the public to invade the home of the late highlife icon, Daddy Lumba.
The court set his bail at GH¢50,000 with two justified sureties.
In a related development the office of the Nungua Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, has officially invited the head of Daddy Lumba’s family Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu to seek clarity if indeed, the late musician was buried at his East Legon private residence in Accra, without the consent of the allodial land owners to leased it out.
The said meeting was to have happened last Thursday March 12 but Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu did not show up.
Reverend Dr Jesse Ankrah, Administrator for the Nungua Gborbu Wulomo, told the media the absence of Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu without any information on why he could not show up amounts to disrespect to the traditional leader’s office
