Castro Is Alive; Likely To Show Face This Year …Friend Reveals

In 2014, Hiplife musician Castro was declared missing, following reports that the singer had drowned in the Ada Estuary with a lady friend, identified simply as Janet Bandu.

It’d been five years since the tragic incident, and the nation is still yet to solve the mystery of how two skiing friends could just vanish into thin air, without any trace.

Though Castro is still declared missing and many Ghanaians have given up on him, another musician, named Yawkoi, who claims to be a childhood friend of Castro (real name Theophilus Tagoe) told Graphic Showbiz that the award-winning artiste is alive and will return this year.

“Castro will come back this year. He asked me to tell Ghanaians that they will see him. I have spoken to him twice and each time, he called with a private line.

“The first time I received a call from a private number and the person introduced himself as Castro, I brushed it off and didn’t pay any attention to the person but, as someone who has always believed that my friend is alive, I realised it was a hasty decision I took,” revealed Yawkoi.

“Luckily, I got another private number call again and this time, I decided to be more inquisitive so I started asking relevant questions, and lo and behold, it was my lost friend Castro. From his responses, I was convinced and he told me to let Ghanaians know that he is alive and will be back this year,” he added.

This ‘revelation’ comes after actor of Too Much Of Junka Town, and also a friend of Castro, had also revealed that his friend was much alive and would soon come out of his ‘hideout’.

The celebrated musician had gone to Ada on vacation with the then Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, when he and Janet reportedly ‘drowned’.

Since the disappearance five years ago, several men of God, Mallams, and Fetish priests and priestesses have come out with word on the whereabouts of the two, the recent being Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, a.k.a Eagle Prophet, who promised to reveal details very soon.
