Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul Razak, fondly known as Chef Faila, embarked on a remarkable quest to achieve the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual). Her ambitious goal captured the hearts of Ghanaians, who rallied behind her throughout the cook-a-thon attempt.

On March 3, 2024, Chef Faila took to Facebook to express her gratitude for the overwhelming support that had accompanied her culinary journey. “Though the result may not have aligned with our hopes, I am deeply appreciative of the steadfast support from our sponsors, partners, and the encouragement from our fans,” she conveyed in her statement

Chef Faila’s words resonated with a mix of appreciation and resilience, acknowledging the disappointment while emphasizing the invaluable role her supporters played. Throughout her message, she emphasized the significance of the community’s backing in her pursuit of this challenging record.
