Contract Killing at Juaben?
A FARMER in his early 40s has been murdered by some unknown people at Juaben, in the Ashanti region, the paper understands.
Kofi Oppong, the deceased, had gone to the farm on Monday, but was attacked and killed by some assailants, who dumped his body at a spot between Adumasa and Pamenase, in the Juaben Municipality, sources informed the paper.
The real cause of the murder is so far unknown, but residents are not ruling out a possible contract killing.
According to the residents, Kofi Oppong had visited his farm in the morning of that fateful day, but his relatives, who decided to send him some food to him as they usually do, were horrified to discover his lifeless body in the bush.
The matter was then reported to the police, who conveyed the body to a mortuary at Juaben, for autopsy. No arrest has so far been made.
