Dead bodies of Takoradi missing girls discovered

Missing Takoradi girls are believed to be dead, as body parts found in a manhole.

Reports indicates special police discovered and exhumed the dead bodies believed to be the three missing Takoradi girls at Kasawrodo in the Western Region.

Thepublisheronline.com understands the key suspect was brought to the scene when the bodies were found. A team of police personnel undertook the operation after a tip off in the community.

According to a press statement issued by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service signed by DSP Juliana Obeng, Head, Public Affairs Unit, the Western Regional Command conducted the operation at the Takoradi suburb.

“During the operation, which took place at about 7 p.m., some human remains were retrieved from a septic tank at an uncompleted building”, the statement said, explaining: “The building was previously occupied by convict Samuel Odoetuk Willis, who is one of the accused persons standing trial for allegedly kidnapping the three Takoradi girls.

“The discovered human remains would be sent to the forensic science laboratory of the Ghana Police Service for analysis and further investigation”, the statement said.
