Don’t Tell Me How to Dress – Delay Claps Back

Award-winning Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur, Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has clapped back at a social media user who criticized her outfit choice.

During a live session on her official TikTok page on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the host of The Delay Show engaged with fans while wearing a striking red dress that highlighted her curves.

However, her look did not sit well with a male viewer, who urged her to dress more modestly and avoid showing her cleavage in public.

The user, @manchestervictor, commented, “Please check the way you dress.”

Unfazed by the remark, Delay wasted no time in responding. She asserted her independence and made it clear that she alone decides how to present herself.

“I live on my own. I eat what I love. I do whatever I want, so don’t sit where you are and tell me how I should dress. I am not your wife. Thank you for understanding,” she fired back.

Delay further suggested that the critic’s wife might be enduring domestic abuse, implying that he should focus on his household rather than policing women’s attire.

After addressing the criticism, she quickly moved on to business, using the session to promote the money transfer platform Lemfi. She encouraged her followers to send a referral code to her inbox for a chance to win prizes.

Delay’s confident response has since sparked discussions on social media about personal freedom and unsolicited advice.
