E/R NPP Endorses Sammi Awuku

The Eastern Regional arm of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has endorsed Mr Sammi Awuku as the party’s next National Organiser.

The regional arm said Mr Awuku, has, over the years, proven leadership and has shown in several ways that he has the ability, desire and leadership skills to be the “man we need for election 2020 and beyond.”

The party, in a statement, expressed confidence in Mr Awuku, because “as a communicator, mobiliser, and grassroots person, he successfully mobilised one of the single, most powerful youth revolution in the history of Ghana’s election that supervised the 2016 election victory for the NPP. He operated the youth wing of the party as his business, where he and his staff provided a caring, functioning and loving atmosphere for our most vulnerable citizens and the opposition NPP at the time.”

EASTERN REGIONAL NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY ENDORSES SAMMI AWUKU AS THE NEXT NATIONAL ORGANIZER OF THE PARTY

We, the Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Eastern Region;

• having gathered thoughts from the 33 constituencies of the Eastern Region, where there is a 100% endorsement chorus for Sammi Awuku in the upcoming NPP national elections;

• standing indivisible, from Afram Plains to Upper Manya Krobo to Abuakwa North to Ofoase Ayirebi, has decided to issue our formal 100% endorsement of Sammi Awuku as the next National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party. Sammi has over the years shown proven leadership and deserve our 100% endorsement.

Sammi has shown in several ways that he has the ability, desire and leadership skills to be the man we need for election 2020 and beyond.

As a communicator, mobiliser, and grassroots person, he successfully mobilised one of the single most powerful youth revolution in the history of Ghana’s election that supervised the 2016 election victory for the NPP. He operated the youth wing of the party as his business, where he and his staff provided a caring, functioning and loving atmosphere for our most vulnerable citizens and the opposition NPP at the time.

We speak with first-hand knowledge and conviction of this, as he entirely changed the operations and spirit of the Youth Organisers at all levels of our party. We remember how he built the capacities of our Regional Youth Organisers in Germany to effect change at the grassroots towards election 2016.

As a member of national executive, we have a firm believe that he was the force behind election 2016 victory and we will inevitably need him as the party move to enhance its fortunes, consolidate grounds and bring change into the lives of the many expectant Ghanaians and NPP members and sympathisers.

Sammi is a friend of the grassroots, he is the one who can be counted on in times of crisis as well as celebration. During the past four years in office as the National Youth Organiser, he has served the NPP, Ghana and its citizens with admiration. He has also contributed immensely to the effective handling of the exponential growth that has occurred in our party.

You can see through these examples amongst others, of his leadership and faithfulness that, as the National Organiser of the NPP, Sammy Awuku can help the NPP grow to become a spirited and prosperous political party. Indeed, Sammy has shown faith to the New Patriotic Party across all levels, hence our decision to reward him with a 100% endorsement.

We entreat all other regions to follow suit and please endorse Sammi Awuku as the next National Organiser of the NPP on or before 7 July.
