Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards Changes Logo

Event Plus Ghana, the organizers of Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards (ERMEA) has announced a change of logo.

According to the organizers, the change has been necessitated due to the ongoing evolution of ”our brand to become more visible as best corporate media awards event in the Eastern Region.”

In a statement signed by Joshua Tetteh, the Public Relations Officer of the awards scheme on Wednesday, July 4, 2019, disclosed the new logo is reflective of ERMEA’s growth and evolution over the years.

”“A new logo that reflects who we are today and to symbolize our great future. The new logo reflects a more united look and captures our mission to deliver excellent quality, top-notch awards event with an enviable world-class image,” part of  the statement reads.

The statement further indicated, ”the logo has a star and a ‘GONGON’ in it which has a significant effect on how things are done in ERMEA. The blend of colors ‘black’ and ‘gold’ marks the transformation of focusing on internal planning strategies to hitting the final nail on each edition of ERMEA as refined gold”.

Nomination for the 2019 edition of the awards scheme was opened on June 7, 2019 to June 30 2019 where the filing of nominations ended. The main awards is set to take place in August.

According to the Organizers, the award scheme aims to promote excellence in media, with the objective of ensuring that the media remains one of Eastern Region and for that matter Ghana’s foremost media choices.
