Ebony Goes Home Tomorrow

The remains of the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, popularly known as Ebony, will be buried tomorrow March 24, at the Osu Cemetery.

The burial will be preceded by a funeral service at the forecourt of the State House in Accra on the same day.

MUSIGA President, Bice Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as Obour, at a press conference organized recently, disclosed that the funeral church service would take place at the same venue followed by the burial around midday.

According to him, final funeral rights for Ebony will take place after the burial till 5 pm.

There is also going to be a concert which will be held at Trade Fair Centre on Friday, March 23, before her final burial.

Already, cloths designed by Ghanaian textile giants, GTP, for the funeral are being patronized by fans and sympathizers.

GTP launched the new clothing in her memory after her passing.

The cloths dubbed ‘Maame Hw3’ and ‘Aseda’ are for her burial and thanksgiving services.

The popular dancehall artiste born on February 16th, 1997, died in a gruesome road accident.

The sudden accident occurred late Thursday, February 8, on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

She died together with her best friend, Frank Kuri, and her bodyguard who was a military man.

They were on board a Jeep with registration AS 497-16, when a head-on collision with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi occurred.
