Effutu cleans up for Independence anniversary

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Efffutu Municipal Assembly, Alhaji Zubairu Kassim MCE for Effutu on Saturday 26th February,2022 led the good people of Effutu in collaboration with  Zoomlion and Ghana Fire Service to clean the Effutu community ahead of the 65th Independence Day Anniversary to be hosted in Cape Coast, Central Region.

The exercise focal areas were Winneba Junction, Winneba Central Market, Copa Junction and Nkwantanan.

The MCE stressed that Keeping the environment clean will prevent outbreak of communicable diseases.

Owing to this he urged all Effutu residents to make cleanliness a habit and not feel that the Assembly is imposing on them any extra responsibility.

He expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all Assembly Members, the Effutu Education Director – Mrs.  Mabel Judith Micah, Effutu NPP Chairman – Mr. Theophilus Kojo Halm, his 1st Vice Chairman – Mr. Kofi Kwayera, the Communications Team led by Mr. Ellis Otabil, the Media Team led by Mr. Francis Bolley and the good people of Effutu who joined to make the clean up exercise a success.
