Ernest Opoku’s ‘Lover’ Storms Adom FM Studios; Lashes Him

A woman who claims gospel musician Ernest Opoku impregnated her, stormed the studios of Adom FM today (Monday) and flogged him with a cane.

Nayas, who is also an actress, broke into the studios of the station in the course of their live worship programme with a hidden cane, and attacked the ‘Aseda’ singer.

According to Nayas who had earlier taken to the media to recount her encounter with Ernest Opoku, she was not happy that Ernest had attributed the fact that he had impregnated her to the devil instead of apologising.

The drama attracted several onlookers to the forecourt of the station. Attempts by some of the people gathered to calm her proved unsuccessful until ace broadcaster, Amankwah Ampofo, convinced her to leave.

She had earlier said in her narration that Ernest Opoku asked her to abort the pregnancy but she declined.

A few weeks ago, Ernest Opoku confirmed the claims of the actress, saying that it was a mistake.

“Mistakes are committed by human beings. I am not an angel. The Bible says the righteous shall fall seven times but God shall lift him up,” he said.

He therefore asked pastors and the general public to pray for him so he will be able to stand temptations that come his way.

“Pray for me so that God continues to lift me up. The fact that I have made a mistake does not mean the Lord has forsaken me,” he added.

Lastly, Ernest advised the public to beware of the devil because he destroys human beings through various means including women and money.

“Beware of the devil because he comes in different forms to destroy. He comes in the form of money, women. Henceforth, I will be very vigilant in life and look up to God because he has the final say in our lives,” he further stated.

According to reports, Nayas (real name Gladys Mensah Boaku) who was infuriated by the gospel artiste’s recent remarks is currently demanding an apology from Ernest Opoku and a retraction of any false information he has put out in the public domain.
