Family of Killed Journalist Seek Help

THE FAMILY of the murdered female journalist of Dess FM at Asante Bekwai has called for public support to arrest the killers.

According to the bereaved family, they strongly believed that Portia Ama Kodie, was killed by some wicked people, who are walking freely.

The bereaved-family members, domiciled in Asante Mampong in the Ashanti region, have therefore entreated members of the public to assist in bringing her killers to justice.

“We are of the firm belief that our daughter, Portia Agyeiwaa, was killed by some wicked people, who are still roaming about freely in society.

“Our daughter did not commit any crime that warranted her gruesome murder by the fiendish people/person, who wickedly ended her life.

“The bereaved-family is therefore appealing to the public to supply information to the police so that the killers would be apprehended to face the law”.

Wofa Agyei, a representative of the family, who made the appeal, expressed confidence that the killers would be apprehended.

The late Portia Agyeiwaa worked as a newscaster and a front desk staff of Dess FM at Asante Bekwai until she was stabbed to death in her room on Sunday.

The body of the 30-year-old journalist had since been deposited at the morgue, awaiting autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The chilling news of her murder had also been reported to the police, who are investigating the case.
