Finance Ministry seeks public input for 2026–2029 budget

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is seeking contributions from business associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, civil society groups, faith-based organisations, and the general public to help shape Ghana’s 2026–2029 Budget Statement and Economic Policy.

In a public notice, the ministry acknowledged past input that has influenced national budgets over the years and emphasised its commitment to inclusive policy-making.

The government is targeting a November 15, 2025, deadline to present the budget to Parliament, with public submissions forming a key part of the policy formulation process.

“This call is in line with the government’s responsiveness to the needs of the Ghanaian citizenry to deepen participation in the budget process as well as implement inclusive policies,” the notice stated.

Submissions must be sent electronically to [email protected] by close of business on Friday, August 29, 2025.
