The speeding-tanker, which was heading to the Sokoban direction and filled with gas to the brim, then landed into a nearby gutter, igniting an inferno from the rear of the tanker.
The driver and his mate, who miraculously suffered minor injuries after the crash, were rescued by some Good Samaritans, who rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The burning tanker sparked fear among residents of the densely-populated community, who reportedly took to their heels to save their lives, in the event of the burning tanker exploding.
The crash instantly caused massive vehicular traffic on the busy road, as drivers plying the road from the opposite directions, were forced to parked their cars to avert a looming disaster.
