The former MCE for the Akuapem North municipality, Two times parliamentary candidate for Okere constituency in the Eastern Region, who is now aspiring for the National Youth Organiser position in the NDC party, Hon. George Opare Addo has advised that, NDC won’t accept any Camps or vigilante groups in the party to win the 2020 elections.
What matters most is for the party to have a united NDC to face NPP in the 2020. But not Camps or whatever.
He said, the NDC don’t subscribe to the activities of the vigilante groups and Camps which has become the order of the day in our politics.
Therefore He is advising that, as the party has opened nomination forms at the regional levels for positions in the party, they shouldn’t tolerate any Camps in their campaign and let NDC be their ultimate interest.
Mr. George Opare Addo was speaking in koforidua when officially declaring his intention to contest for the National Youth Organiser Position to the media.

He said where NDC is now, the party needs experience, experts to lead the youth wing of the party. The former MCE also used the occasion to address issues surrounding the registration of the National Identification Cards.

According to him, “the refusal of the NIA to register Ghanaians with Voter ID cards is a deliberate attempt to prevent people from getting their Ghana cards and must be condemned by all well meaning Ghanaians.

He said the recent dismissal of the Director of the Birth and Death Registry in the Volta Region smacks of a hidden agenda by the ruling party. He was quick to add that the NDC will resist any attempt by government to go about their Machiavellian deeds.
