In a spate of three months, PR/Events specialist, George Quaye, has successfully hopped to three popular companies without tasting unemployment during the period.
George left Charterhouse to join Gold Trading Company, Menzgold, in August this year, causing some disaffection within the ranks at Charterhouse, considering the manner he left the company.
His tumultuous stint with Menzgold was, however short-lived, lasting for just over a month.
In early October, without assigning any reasons, he again resigned from his post as Head of Communications of Menzgold.
George Quaye is currently back at the popular Events House, to take over the role he abandoned unceremoniously three months ago. He is spearheading initiatives to draw awareness to the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, scheduled for early 2019.
Before joining Menzgold, he resigned his official role as regular host of the award-winning entertainment talk show, ‘The Pundits’ on GhOne TV.
Together with Iyiola Ayoade, Apefa Nfojoh and Nii Ayite Hammond, George practically created the concept for ‘The Pundits’ and was the main host since 2012.
He won RTP ‘Male Entertainment Show Host of the Year’ 3 times – 2013, 2014 and 2016 – an unprecedented feat by any entertainment male host since the inception of the awards.
George, however, has also been host of the ‘Morning Zoo’ on Starr 103.5FM.
