“Get Married” – Stonebwoy Advice Young Men

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, has encouraged young people to embrace marriage, describing it as a beautiful experience.

The award-winning artiste shared this message when he and his wife attended the white wedding of Nigerian music superstar Davido and his long-time partner, Chioma Avril Rowland, in Miami on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Speaking briefly upon arrival at the event, Stonebwoy said, “Marriage is a beautiful thing. You see, I just walked through with my wife, so to all the boys out there, get married.”

His words came as the lavish celebration drew attention from fans and media across the globe.

The Miami wedding, held at The Havana, followed Davido and Chioma’s traditional ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria, in June 2024 and their court wedding in March 2023. Estimated to have cost around $3.7 million, the event was one of the most expensive celebrity weddings in Nigerian history.

Celebrities, billionaires, and political figures attended, adding glamour to the occasion. The couple exchanged vows in front of a stunning waterfront backdrop, with live performances, luxury décor, and a star-studded guest list. Stonebwoy, who also performed, wore a sleek black and gold custom-made outfit.

Davido is said to have gifted Chioma a 10-carat Gia-certified F color oval ring, designed by renowned jeweler Bennydajeweler, reportedly worth $950,000. Pictures and videos of the lavish celebration have gone viral on social media, sparking admiration and excitement among fans.

However, the event was not without challenges. Visa issues prevented some guests, including Chioma’s parents and close friends such as Cubana Chief Priest, from attending.

Despite this, the ceremony went ahead with grandeur, cementing Davido and Chioma’s status as a power couple in the African entertainment scene.
