Ghanaian stars shine in Kosovo

TWO GHANAIAN footballers have taken the Kosovo Division One League by storm as they have been displaying extraordinary football talents.

The duo are Augustine Ameworlorna, 22, a utility player who plays as a left back and also as a central defender and Daniel Tette, 19, who is a winger, with a quick feet.

Interestingly, the two talented footballers ply their trade for the same club, Trepca 89 Kosovo, where they are currently integral players of the high flying team.

Augustine started his football career in Ghana with the Anointing Football Club, where he excelled and caught the attention of JK Soccer Academy of Turkey.

He did not stay in Turkey for long as his brilliant and jaw-dropping performances forced Trepca 89 Kosovo, a first division club in Kosovo, to sign him.

On his part, Daniel seemed to have followed Augustine’s path as after featuring for Royal Achievers in Ghana, JK Soccer Academy in Turkey signed him on.

Like Augustine, Daniel stayed in Turkey for a short period of time as his exploits on the field influenced officials of Trepca 89 Kosovo to lure him to their club.

The names of the two Ghanaian stars are now on the lips of virtually all football lovers in Kosovo as they continue to dazzle fans with their amazing talents.

Speaking with THE PUBLISHER NEWSPAPER on phone, Augustine and Daniel attributed their success in Kosovo so far to God, who has blessed them with the talent.

The two footballers, who have ambition of representing Ghana at the international stage soon, said they train hard and also listen to advice from their coaches.
