‘Ghanaians Hungry For Mahama’s Return’ – Kofi Adams

National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has said emphatically that, Ghanaians are more than ready to receive Former President Mahama into the high office of the land as President of the Republic.

“Ghanaians have realized that they have been lied to and wherever you go, there is genuine love for Mahama. The country is yearning for John Dramani Mahama,” – he said.

Speaking on Eyewitness News, the NDC member said former President is the best candidate for the Flagbearership position of the party.

Mahama officially announced his intention to contest the 2020 polls on Thursday, August 23, 2018, the day on which forms were picked on his behalf.

Several persons including Ghana’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Victor Smith, and the party’s National Organizer, Kofi Adams, have argued that Mahama is the party’s best hope for victory in 2020.

Mr. Mahama joins other high profile candidates within the NDC including the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Sylvester Mensah, and Nadowli Kaleo MP, Alban Bagbin.

Other candidates are Dr. Ekwow Spio Garbrah; a former Trade and Industry Minister; Former Vice Chancellor of the University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Prof. Joshua Alabi, and Cape Coast South MP Kweku Ricketts-Hagan.
