Ghana’s Detty December 2025: All the Top Events Happening

Ghana is ready for a month full of music, parties, and fun. December is packed with concerts, beach parties, and cultural events for everyone to enjoy.

The celebrations start early with the Shay Concert on 22 November, giving a taste of what’s coming. Once December begins, the action heats up:

• 13 December: Medikal’s Beyond Control Concert and the Outmosphere festival happen at the same time. Partygoers choose which to attend, or try to catch both.
• 18 December: Kweku Smoke’s Revival brings exciting and spiritual performances.
• 19 December: The GT Bank Concert mixes street energy with a polished feel.
• 20 December: Made in Taadi takes the December party spirit to Ghana’s Western Region.
• 21 December: Black Sherif’s Zaama Disco delivers music, dance, and youthful energy
• 23 December: Likor on the Beach offers sun, sand, drinks, and good vibes.
• 24 December (Christmas Eve): Bhim Fest and the Samini Show turn Christmas Eve into a lively cultural night.
• 26 December (Boxing Day): Three big events, Black Star Experience, Little Havana’s all-white party, and Taste the Culture, keep the fun going.
• 27 December: The legendary Detty Rave marks a high point of the season.
• 28–29 December: Afrofuture mixes music, art, and African pride.
• 30 December: Promise Land and Olivetheboy Live close the year with music and unity.

Every December, Ghana comes alive with excitement. Beaches fill with music and dancing, cities sparkle with energy, and the whole country celebrates culture, identity, and joy. What started as a simple homecoming for Ghanaians living abroad has grown into Detty December, and the 2025 edition promises to be bigger than ever.
