Spanish club Real Zaragoza have officially signed Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Saidu on a permanent deal after his outstanding start to the season.
The 20-year-old, who initially joined Zaragoza on loan from Ghanaian side Dansoman XI Wise, has earned a five-year contract due to his impressive performances. Saidu’s talent first stood out when he played for Zaragoza’s youth team and Deportivo Aragón last season.
Towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign, he was promoted to the senior team, where he quickly proved his worth.
During the pre-season, Saidu continued to impress the club’s technical team with his determination and skill. His hard work has since earned him eight appearances in the ongoing season, making him one of the young players to watch in Spain’s second-tier league.
In an official statement, the club announced, “Yussif Saidu has now committed to Real Zaragoza for the remainder of this season and four more years. The club congratulates him on this important step in his career. We’re still together, Saidu!”
Saidu’s new contract marks a major step in his career and highlights Zaragoza’s trust in his potential to become a key player for the team in the coming years.
