God Is Gradually Healing Me – Kofi Adomah Express Excitement

Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has given praise and acknowledgement to God in heaven over what he describes as a magnificent miracle upon his life and He not allowing what his enemies wished for him come to reality.

In a video shared on his Kofi TV YouTube channel on 22 May 2025, Kofi Adomah opened up for the first time about the painful experience and long recovery journey.

“What I went through felt like the end. I thought I might die. Someone else was shot in the leg at Teshie-Nungua and didn’t survive. Mine was to the face. Today is just to say thank you,” he said.

Providing an update on his current condition, Kofi said he is gradually recovering.

“My eyes are not what they used to be, but I can now see someone standing in front of me. I can read messages. If the text is too small, I take a screenshot and zoom in. I’m able to get by,” he added.

The journalist was injured on 21 December 2024 while covering the 25th-anniversary celebration of Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II during the Kwafie Festival in Dormaa Ahenkro, Bono Region.

A musket, fired during a traditional gun salute by a chief’s bodyguard, accidentally struck him in the face.

He was first rushed to Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital and then to Berekum Holy Family Hospital for emergency treatment. Later, he was flown to Dubai for specialized care. Due to the seriousness of the injuries, he also received further medical attention in the United Kingdom after experiencing temporary blindness and complications in both eyes.

“Even now, when you look at the scans, there are still fragments in there. Doctors say I’ll have to live with them for some time,” Kofi revealed.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by him during the difficult time. He especially thanked his family, his wife Miracle Adomah’s family, and businessman Ibrahim Mahama, who offered to fly him on his private jet for treatment.

He ended by thanking God and Ghanaians for their love, prayers, and support, which he said gave him strength to pull through the darkest moments of his life.
