Gov’t CEOs To Storm Kpandai – Eric Adjei Serves Notice

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Mr. Eric Adjei ESQ. has said, all government appointees especially CEOs of various agencies are expected to storm Kpandai following the declaration of the seat as vacant and further rerun in December 30.

He said, the purpose is to win the seat for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“Thank God CEOs are planning to go to Kpandai. If they make mistake and resign from their various constituencies, or a court rule there’s a need for another election, we will work on it to win. We won’t fight or go to the police station and wait for what they did to Sam George, we will campaign and win. Ghanaians are wise.

“Gone are the days that NDC people were painted as old people party and making mockery of it, now they can’t say that. When was the last time they said something like that, now they can’t say that. Our national chairman has sat where he is for many years. He has held General Secretary for 17 years, National Chairman for 4 years, sector minister for years. Now everyone knows that going for elections, the issues which was raised at court has been granted and the court says we didn’t use a good channel for the human right abuse and therefore, we should go for re-election” he said on Asempa FM’s afternoon political show hosted by Philip Osei Bonsu, popularly known as O.B

He continued, “The court discussion you are having in this studio, its better we meet there. All CEOs are going to Kpandai to take the seat from NPP. For the campaign, we are all going to do based on issues. Now the lights are on. We are not saying the economy is perfect but its better.

“By God grace prices have been reduced and drivers are somehow okay and that’s what we are sending to Kpandai but we will also remind them of the E-levy, betting tax and the Covid tax, Ghanaians have not forgotten. Ghanaians still remember all those taxes. Look at all the taxes which have been abolished and we still maintain the country, do they sleep at night? A friend has relocated to Canada because of the taxes. A young business man in Ghana said the Covid levy on the bill was Ghc 800,000 almost Ghc 1,000,000. A young vibrant gentleman who has secured a loan form access bank and the government is taking lots of money as Covid levy.

“Someone who has been taking covid levy want to come back and rule the country. Under Akuffo Addo government, if you can survive and you can’t survive under Mahama governance then you are a hypocrite.”

He concluded, “My DCE and I were talking yesterday the projects he made mentioned at the district using the common fund, I was amazed. They messed up the assemblies and which was not functioning. Recently when we took over at my district the fuel cost which was left there was more. Lazy government who has sat for 8years.

“You created those mess and within a twinkle of an eye behaving like you have something better to offer. That’s song of yours needs to be changed “the elephant is a winning symbol we have won to save Ghana”. You are coming to save Ghana? Ghana was given to you for 8years you messed it up and you’ve gone for opposition for 11 months.”
