Hajiaposh Foundation Feeds The Vulnerable

A young ambitious Muslim lady has done a commendable thing as she has donated quantities of food items to feed the vulnerable at the Tudu Central mosque in Accra.

The zongo star, Kausar Abdulai , is the founder of ‘Hajiaposh Foundation’, a Non-Profit Organization (NGO) that has been supporting the vulnerable for a very long time.

She donated several bags of quality rice and boxes of cocoa beverages, just to mention a few, to help workers, residents and everybody around the Tudu Central mosque.

According to her, the COVID-19 pandemic had deepened hardship and also created discomfort for the people, notably the vulnerable so she decided to help as Eid-ul-Fitr celebration is approaching.

The Regent University of Science and Technology graduate good works of helping the needy among others in society has been recognized by many highly respectable personalities in society with the adhesion of future continuous.

Rationale

Speaking to journalists after the presentation, Madam Kausar said she dedicated the items getting closer to the end of the Holy Month to help most especially the kayeyie workers to be equipped in the celebration after the fasting.

According to Kausar, her latest donation, aside helping the less privilege participate well in the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration is also intended to create awareness of continuous goodness to each and every individual in aim of making the world a better avenue for all.

“As a people, we owe it a duty to make each and everyone happy especially in times and situation like the COVID pandemic which the citizens here need our help and support badly. This the period they need us more. It is a time of sacrifice because to fast for 30-days is not an easy task. As the name implies, it is a festival where you have to show love. Apart from getting closer to Allah, you have to present gifts to each other to foster a bond of unity – that’s basically the entitlement of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. You can all see the excitement on their faces; it clearly speaks of volume that the donation has been of great impact. This and many more is requested of us in times like this, we need to do more of things like this” she said.

Madam Kausar, who has a golden heart to support the vulnerable and the disabled in society, said she is praying fervently for the COVID-19 to disappear.

According to her, the COVID-19 pandemic had caused immense difficulties to the people, especially the less privileged “and she will continue to assist them”.

“The pandemic has brought a lot of hardship on almost everyone but since we are alive, we will continue to assist and do more. We won’t stop here, my foundation over the period has engaged in a lot of humanitarian work, and we will continue whether COVID or NO COVID. If schools we can assist them enroll – we will gladly do to enable the society be empowered with role models and future graduates, I know that’s our small way of helping government to fix the economy  which has been on high demand for some time now. The youth here as we all can see are not lazy, they are ready for any work so we need to ensure that happens for them to bring an end to the societal vices and things occurring all over.”

The receivers on their side expressed appreciation, prayed for Allah’s continuous divine protection and goodness upon the development of Madam Kausar and her subordinates.

Standing on behalf of the many, one person said, “We are grateful for this – we appreciate it. It means a lot to us and we pray Allah should bless you to enable you also to come and gift us more in the coming days and years”.

Borehole Donation

The Tudu donation comes few weeks after she constructed a mechanized borehole worth millions of Ghana cedis from the proceeds of her recently book launch in the Enshien community in the Eastern region of Ghana.

Constructed in line with the duties of the NGO, the gesture, Madam Kausar hoped, would alleviate the challenges with accessing potable water in the community.

The donation arrives as part of the Living Waters Borehole Nationwide Project, which aims to do its quota toward tackling water countries across the country.
