Ministry of Health has confirmed ongoing LHIMS services following resolution with Lightwave, ensuring uninterrupted digital healthcare support nationwide.
The Ministry has reassured health workers and the public of uninterrupted services under the Lightwave Health Information Management System (LHIMS) following concerns over a sudden suspension notice.
On May 29, 2025, Lightwave eHealthcare Solutions issued a circular announcing the suspension of LHIMS services, a move that caught the Ministry off guard due to the absence of prior formal communication.
However, after a constructive meeting between the Minister of Health and Lightwave representatives, the decision to suspend services was reversed. Lightwave has committed to continuing LHIMS operations across all affiliated health facilities nationwide.
Tony Goodman, the Ministry’s spokesperson, in a press release, affirmed that any outstanding issues related to LHIMS would be resolved amicably. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring reliable digital infrastructure for seamless healthcare delivery.
The Ministry has urged all stakeholders to disregard any earlier notices regarding service shutdowns and pledged to maintain stability and efficiency within the health information management systems.
