Musician Olivetheboy says dating women his age is stressful, and he prefers older women in relationships.

Speaking in a recent interview with MC Portfolio on Kumasi-based Angel FM, the “Asylum” hitmaker shared some personal views about relationships and also opened up about unusual messages he receives from fans.

When asked about the craziest direct messages he has ever gotten, Olivetheboy recalled one surprising request from a female fan.

He said, “The follower told me that even if I cannot be with her, then she wants to have one child with me. But this was a long time ago. At that time, I was still younger,” he disclosed in twi.

He explained that he has not met the fan in person, but he believes she is older than him. That led him to speak about his preference in relationships.

“I like them older though; my age mates come with so much stress,” he noted.

The musician further explained the age range he is comfortable with. According to him, he prefers women between 26 and 35 years. However, he added that women above 40 are not ideal for him.

Beyond his relationship preferences, Olivetheboy also spoke about the upcoming 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, which will be held on May 9, 2026.

He expressed support for fellow musician Wendy Shay, who has been nominated for Artiste of the Year.

“I am very happy for her. I hope she wins it because everyone on that list deserves it; that is why they have been nominated. She has done well for herself,” he stated.

His comments have sparked conversation among fans, especially about his views on relationships and his support for other artists in the music industry.
