I Love Men That Cheat – Mzbel

Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has revealed surprising details about the type of men she finds attractive, saying she is drawn to men who are unfaithful.

In a recent interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, the singer explained that a partner’s infidelity gives her a sense of challenge and competition that she finds stimulating.

“I like men that cheat, I like the mystery in it, men caring that call and text all the time are boring”, she explained.

According to Mzbel, men who are overly affectionate or attentive do not appeal to her. She noted that she becomes more interested when there is a noticeable break in communication, saying she enjoys the renewed energy that comes when a man pulls away.

Constant texting, calling, or daily check-ins feel suffocating for her. Mzbel also revealed that her longest relationship lasted five years and hinted that she values her independence, preferring not to have a partner who is always present or demanding her attention.

Prior to this, Mzbel spoke about political appointments earlier this year, saying she would reject any offer to protect her peace of mind and avoid intense public scrutiny.

She added that she would have appreciated recognition from the authorities for her contributions to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), particularly given her efforts in campaigning for the party.

“The truth is that I will turn down an offer of appointment should the President even call because I want peace of mind. I don’t want anyone to equate my success to politics because I work very hard,” she said.

She continued: “For instance, should I travel for even my own show, they will say ‘she is travelling with taxpayers’ money. Politics has made her this and that.’”

Mzbel has been outspoken about her support for the NDC in recent years and has been actively involved in the party’s campaign activities, but she remains firm in keeping her personal success separate from political roles.
