I’m Grateful – Mahama tells NDC Supporters

National Democratic Congress flagbearer hopeful, John Dramani Mahama, has expressed gratitude to party faithfuls after they thronged his office earlier today to contribute towards his nomination and filing fees.

In a facebook post, the former president said their actions have proven that with unity, solidarity, dedication and hardwork, the party will win the 2020 General election.

“I am further humbled by the teeming number of you, who gathered in my office, to contribute your widows mite to my campaign. Thank you.” he said.

Some sympathizers of Mahama, including MPs, individuals and constituencies on Monday donated varied amounts of cash towards his campaign in the impending National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearership race.

The former president is impressed by the overwhelming generosity shown for his candidature to lead the party going into the 2020 elections.

Although many have described the GHc420,000 fees the NDC is charging its flagbearer hopefuls as hefty, Mahama’s campaign team have called on his followers to make donations towards the cause to enable him contest in the upcoming primaries.

Meanwhile, Mr. John Mahama earlier today picked his nomination forms, although his other colleagues have boycotted the process until their petition is addressed over the high cost of fees.
