John Boadu Grabs More Delegates
John Boadu’s candidature for the General Secretary position of the governing NPP, continues to receive overwhelming endorsements from the party’s rank and file ahead of the party’s National Annual Delegates Conference scheduled for June 15 to 17 this year.
Constituency executives, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDCEs) in the Upper West, Upper East and Northern regions where he his currently on a campaign tour have so far tipped him to win the position.
Mr. Boadu, who doubles as the National Organizer of the party is interacting with delegates on reasons why he is the best man for the position of general secretary of the governing party.
His tour, is also to apprise himself as the National Organizer and Acting General Secretary of the current state of the party in the 275 constituencies after over a year in government.
Mr. Boadu is particularly concerned about the relationship between government appointees and party executives, particularly MMDCEs.
So far he has visited 11 and 15 constituencies in the Upper East and West Regions respectively where executives in each of these constituencies pledged their unwavering support for Mr. Boadu, citing his indispensable contribution to the party’s historic electoral victory in the 2016 polls.
