Kaase gets modern police station

SECURITY SITUATION at Kaase, a densely populated community in Kumasi in the Ashanti, is set to improve massively in the coming weeks.

This pleasant news follows the commissioning of an ultramodern police station at Kaase, which was built by the Kaasehene, Nana Mensah Bonsu.

The traditional leader, who is much loved and adored by his people, has worked to transform his community since he ascended the Kaase stool.

For instance, Nana Mensah Bonsu recently used his own funds to build a modern hospital for the Kaase community to improve their health status of his people.

Speaking during the opening of the police station, the Kaasehene said the police station would go a long way to boost security in the Kaase community.

According to him, Kaase’s development would be expedited in an atmosphere of law and order, adding that he wants his area to be properly developed.

Nana Mensah Bonsu thanked the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his unflinching support and encouragement which has made his reign successful so far.

Otumfuo, in a speech read on his behalf, lauded the Kaasehene for his unique vision and hard work, which has helped to ensure the development of Kaase.

He entreated the police personnel who would be using the Kaase Police Station to take good care of the facility to ensure its longevity for future generations.

The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe, thanked the Kaasehene for the police station and urged the police to be professional.
