‘Keep Your Environment Clean’ …NPP Loyal ladies Urge K’si Residents

THE ASHANTI Regional Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah, has urged residents of Kumasi and other suburbs to keep their environment tidy to avert the outbreak of diseases.

She said mosquito, which is the main cause of Malaria, is produced from dirty environment, and therefore appealed to all to be on the watch out.

According to her, if the environment is always kept tidy, it would be extremely difficult for mosquitoes to hatch their eggs.

She was speaking in an exclusive interview with THE NEW PUBLISHER when she joined the NPP Loyal Ladies to organize a mammoth cleanup exercise over the weekend.

The exercise saw the ladies clearing choked drainage systems and weeding bushy areas in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency in the Ashanti region.

Nana Ama Ampomah reminded the people that it is always expensive and time-consuming to treat ailments, especially Malaria, and that it is better to prevent it.

“You can only avert Malaria when you stay away from mosquitoes, who are very dangerous parasites. Therefore keep your environment clean always”, she said.

The Loyal Ladies after three hours cleanup exercise, presented hand sanitizers, gloves, buckets and other items to the Atwima Kwanwoma Health Center.
