Kotoko party in Canada on Saturday

KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko were crowned as Ghana Premier League Champions in Kumasi last Sunday.

The great feat will be celebrated in a colourful fashion in far away Toronto, in Canada, on Saturday.

Three known Kotoko supporters, who are now domiciling in Toronto, would organize a Kotoko victory get together.

The organizers of the event are Alhaji Ali Maradona, Kwaku Tawiah aka ‘Milo’ and Edwin, who are die-hard Kotoko fans.

The merrymaking programme, which would start at 10am Canada time, would bring together all Kotoko supporters.

“Asanteman Association of Canada and other groups have also been invited to the event”, Ali Maradona disclosed.

According to him, Kotoko has huge fan-base in Canada, hence their decision to organize the league victory party.

The organizers of the get together, he said, have used their own resources to organize food and drinks for everyone.

“There will be sumptuous food and assortment of drinks in abundance for everyone to enjoy the day”, he promised.

Ali Maradona also said Kotoko’s next birthday, which falls in August, would be marked in a grand style in Toronto.
