FA CUP Holders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko is planning to camp in neighbouring Cote D’Ivoire, ahead of next season.
The move is to help the team have a perfect pre-season, devoid of any distraction from fans and family members of the players.
A Kotoko source hinted to THE PUBLISHER SPORTS that management is considering several places for the pre-season camping.
He however said neighbouring Cote D’Ivoire, so far looks the likely destination for the two-time Africa champions to camp.
According to him, Kotoko wants to win the league next year and management believes a perfect pre-season would aid their course.
He noted that Kotoko has lined up series of friendly games at Cote D’Ivoire to test the might of the players, should the pre-season trip come on.
In a related development, it looks like that Kumasi Asante Kotoko Head Trainer, Steven Pollack, will stay at the club next season.
Reports indicate Kotoko has given him a fresh two-year contract with a task on the expatriate trainer to win the league and shine in Africa.
