Kudus Reaches Premier League Team of the Week

West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named in WhoScored’s English Premier League Team of the Week for matchday 34.

Although West Ham lost 3-2 to Brighton & Hove Albion last Saturday, Kudus delivered an impressive performance. He scored the equalizer for the Hammers after Brighton’s early goal, but a late strike from Carlos Baleba gave the Seagulls the win.

Despite the defeat, Kudus earned a strong rating of 8.14 out of 10 for his efforts. His performance stood out enough to earn him a spot among the week’s best players.

Kudus is joined in the Team of the Week by three Liverpool players—Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo. Matheus Cunha of Wolves also made the list after scoring at the weekend.

Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn, and Alexander Isak were included as well. Fulham players Joachim Andersen and Ryan Sessegnon earned spots, along with Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

Kudus seems to be hitting top form again as the season nears its end. His recent performances show his importance in West Ham’s attack and his growing influence in Graham Potter’s squad.
