Kwadaso endorse Vincent Frimpong

Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Middle Belt Development Authority, Vincent Frimpong Manu looks set to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the new parliamentary candidate for Kwadaso Constituency during the forthcoming elections in December.

Kwadaso has been largely pro-NPP and Vincent, if he contests on the party’s ticket has very high prospects of emerging victorious.

He is a development practitioner and a former President of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) NPP during his tertiary days at the University of Cape Coast.

His chances at entering Parliament looks even better following a strategic decision of a large number of NPP delegates in the Kwadaso Constituency to openly declare their unflinching support for his candidature.

The NPP delegates, described as the kingmakers in the party in the constituency, have gone the extra mile by using their own money to even purchase the parliamentary nominations forms for Vincent Frimpong.

According to the delegates, they have over the years monitored Vincent Frimpong, who hails from the constituency, and they are confident that he is the surest bet for the party in the 2020 polls.

Elliot Marfo, a delegate of the NPP in the Kwadaso Constituency, in an interview with The New Publisher, said the NPP wants to increase their votes at Kwadaso even as the party retains the seat.

He described Vincent Frimpong as a loyal party member, who has good relationship with almost all the members of the party in Kwadaso, therefore he is the right person to lead the NPP as parliamentary candidate.

According to Mr. Marfo, even though Vincent Frimpong is well resourced to buy his own nominations forms to contest in the Kwadaso NPP primaries “we decided to buy it for him as a sign of our support for him”.

He observed that Vincent Frimpong is peace-loving person, who is well respected in the constituency, therefore he has what it takes to increase the votes of the NPP to help President Nana Akufo-Addo to win a second term.
