Lil Win: I’ll Never Work With Van Vicker Again

Ghanaian filmmaker and actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, says he will no longer work with fellow actor Van Vicker following a disagreement over a movie role.

In a video shared on Tiktok, dated August 10, 2026, Lil Win said he would not cast Van Vicker in his movies again after the actor allegedly turned down a role a day before a scheduled shoot.

He said that if they were both selected for the same movie, he would choose not to be part of the production.

According to Lil Win, either Van Vicker would shoot the movie alone or he would shoot it without Van Vicker, as he no longer wants to share a set with him.

Lil Win accused Van Vicker of showing disrespect to stakeholders in the Kumawood industry. He claimed that the actor had failed to respond to calls on several occasions when he was expected to report to set.

“I would never cast you in a movie again. Even if there’s a movie and they are casting both of us, I wouldn’t shoot that movie. It’s either you cast the movie alone or I cast it alone. I wouldn’t want to work with you again. Enough is enough.

“You don’t respect the Kumawood industry. A day before we are scheduled to shoot a movie, when we call you, you don’t answer your calls. I have called you multiple times, but you don’t answer or return the calls to explain why you couldn’t come for the shoot,” Lil Win stated.

He said there are many other talented actors he can work with.

Lil Win also claimed that Van Vicker rejected him when he first tried to cast him but said he invited him for a second project out of love and respect. According to him, Van Vicker allegedly rejected that opportunity as well.

He said he would not allow the situation to happen a third time.

Lil Win added that his manager, Frank, had cast Van Vicker in his upcoming movie, but he has removed his name from the cast.

“It would not happen for the third time. Frank had cast you in my upcoming movie, but I have taken your name out. I will never use you again because, for the work we are about to do, you are not bigger than anyone on the cast list,” Lil Win noted.
